Halloween is Coming
Halloween seems like a bigger deal today. Costumes, toys, and other small things are in stores everywhere. Movies are playing horror too. And I even have bad dreams this time of year. This is not a good example for the children. Children can all trick or treat on the street. They go, from door to door and house to house, visiting and asking for candy bars, chocolates, and other treats. All of these children are accompanied by their parents, hopefully. A lot of people like to celebrate on this occasion.
Halloween party nights are popular too. Children, teens, and adults have there own costume parties.
Even me, I am celebrating. As you can see my template is a vampire. And, I bought my Maria a Halloween costume too.
Why is Halloween really a big deal for us?
Is Halloween spoken of in the Bible? I don't think so… I think we are turned away from a true God. Is Halloween a celebration for witches and wizards; these characters are spoken of unfavorably in the Bible.

Bad Dream
Last night I went to bed around 10:00 o’clock. Then, I woke up, early this morning at 3:30 a.m. After I fed Maria, I went back to sleep at 5:00.
Oh nooo, I was dreaming. All of my fingers and toes were gone!
This is the story. There were women trying to catch me, because I did not belong to they’re community. I ran and ran, until I found a river cave. I dived under the water and hid. One of them saw me, and she jumped under the water too, and others followed.
That dream was not very clear. Suddenly, we became friends. They invited me to go into the cave to the farthest point. There was a portion of the water where a lot of honey bees were hovering above. We tried not to be bitten by the bees, so we swam under the water. When we reached the end of the cave, we come up out of the water, and I could see that my fingers and toes were stubs, and bees were on my toes. And my two friends, Dauph and Bless, had also lost their fingers and toes. I was so sad, because I felt so ugly, and I thought that my Toney would not want me. I was afraid he would not love me any more, and he would not want to marry me.
I don’t know why I had the dream. But, I wanted to tell you; because, it was strange.

Fussy Again
Every time when Maria is fussy during the night, she is killing me.
Last night Maria cried to death; but I don’t know why. After I fed her, she was still the same. It seems like she was hurting. I sang her favorite lullaby, twinkle-twinkle little star.
No matter what I did to comfort her, she kept crying.
It was aggravating, you know. I was mad and I raised my voice.
So, I left her alone on the play matt, crying. I was on the bed, watching her. Then she crawled towards me. She put her head under my arm, and after a few minutes she fell asleep.
I blamed myself for what I did to her that night. She is a baby, she does not know what she is doing.
So, I told my husband about it. He said “leave her alone, until she calms down.”
I think that is good idea before I will do something not good for her.

Kind Offer
I would like to present and share this template 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 made by a friend.
She offered to make a template for me that was similar to her blog. I was happy to accept her kind offer. And I really appreciate her friendship; she has been very nice to me. She asked for my number, and we talked over the phone about my template. I called her back, because it was hard for me to update the template she had created for me. Then after a week I asked her permission to change the template. She said it was fine, and at least you already have an idea.
The truth was, I don't like it, sabi ko sa asawa ko how will I turn down her offer, mahirap kase dahil sya ang nag offer.
Please scroll up the tag board of that template, you will see some of our conversation. Or may click this link.
After second week of August 2005 all of the templates that you see here is my creation and most of it I searched on the net. See my credits...

Fish Experiment
I want to talk about my experiences with taking care of ornamental fish in an aquarium. I left it all in the Philippines. I started experimenting with this, I cannot remember exactly when; but, it has been a long time, since I have been taking care of ornamental fish.
My first year, I had many species of fish in one aquarium. Even though they were not compatible, I put them together. The result was that all of them were fighting with one another. After all my experimenting with different species of fish, I decided to take care of only one species; so I chose to take care of a parrot species of cichlids. I experimented with breeding too. If the fish are breeding it means you are taking care of your fish correctly.
I started with a 12 inches aquarium; it was too small for me. Then I bought 2 more, each were 24 inches. I still wasn’t satisfied then, so I bought 2 more, each were 36 inches. Over all, I think that I bought a total of 8 aquariums. I decided to buy a 4 feet aquarium, and I gave all my other aquariums to my sister’s and neighbors.
It takes a lot of care maintaining an aquarium with ornamental fish, with this, patience is a virtue. However, with all the work and care, taking care of an aquarium with fish is a good stress reliever.
I spent a lot of money with this hobby. I did not use ordinary food, so the food I bought was very expensive. As a result, I was always broke, because, I think I spent all of my money with this.
I don't have a recent picture, but this is a picture from the Philippines of my aquarium before I came to the USA.
To be continued...

Two Hearts Become One
This is the chorus from Rod Stewart “You're in my Heart”. My husband, used to sing this to me, while I was in the Philippines. We were talking over the phone when suddenly the song came into his mind. From then on, we continue to sing this song to each other. Just click the button to play or off.
“You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul”
I didn't know what day it was
when you walked into the room
I said hello unnoticed
You said goodbye too soon
Breezing through the clientele
spinning yarns that were so lyrical
I really must confess right here
the attraction was purely physical
I took all those habits of yours
that in the beginning were hard to accept
Your fashion sense, Beardsly prints
I put down to experience
The big bosomed lady with the Dutch accent
who tried to change my point of view
Her ad lib lines were well rehearsed
but my heart cried out for you
Chorus:
You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul
My love for you is immeasurable
My respect for you immense
You're ageless, timeless, lace and fineness
You're beauty and elegance
You're a rhapsody, a comedy
You're a symphony and a play
You're every love song ever written
But honey what do you see in me
(Chorus)
You're an essay in glamour
Please pardon the grammar
but you're every schoolboy's dream
You're Celtic, United, but baby I've decided
You're the best team I've ever seen
And there have been many affairs
Many times I've thought to leave
But I bite my lip and turn around
'cause you're the warmest thing I've ever found
(Chorus)

Five Month Old
It's October fifth today, and Maria is 5 months old. Wow, time is so fast! Two days ago, she said the word Mama. It was very clear. I was very happy. I was so overwhelmed with joy, tears came into my eyes, and I can't explain what I was feeling during that day.
My husband, tried to take out daughter's hand from her mouth because she loves to suck her fingers. Suddenly, she murmured and said Maaama. The voice, was just like, "Maaama, please rescue me". So, both of us were surprised.
Oh, how I wish she can talk, and even speak these simple words: Milk, I love you, and I am bored.
I would like to share some of her pictures. She looks like a "batang yagit", it is cute though.
