New Location

I moved to domain because this is not completely designed the way I want it to be. Last year, I asked Ethel to help me to move my blog to domain but she said all of my archives and my comments cannot be retrive to another location.

I am glad Ethel did not stop helping me and now all of my archives and comments will be move to http://www.raqmitch.com.

I will keep this entry for awhile because there are people I want to read this notification. As of now, I don't want to activate my domain yet. And I will no longer post here.

If you want to get in touch with me please change my url on your contact list as http://www.raqmitch.com.

I would like to say thank you to Ethel for giving me the opportunity to be part of their team. She gave me a reasonable price which is only less than fifteen US dollars.

Body Challenge ~ 8 weeks

I think I mentioned that I lost 10 pounds on my fourth week working out. For the past two weeks I was frustrated because every time I checked my weight there wasn’t a progress. Then a week ago, I stepped on the scale and I lost 3 pounds only. I don't actually see these losses when I look in the mirror, but I know I'm getting stronger.

It’s been 8 weeks now, this morning I checked my weight, wow I lost another 3 pounds so all together is 16 pounds. I am doing great, I know.

I have found a pair of pants that used to be tight and now they are comfortable. My friend Virginia, said, to stop wearing stretchy clothes, then we'll see a different. She got me there. So, maybe I have to go out and see what size I really am. If I have lost at least 16 pounds, maybe I'm down a size.

It seems to me that she's tougher this time.
She said we should keep our calories less than 1,200. This is 1,000 calories less that I'd planned to do for my Lenten sacrifice, so this is going to be tough. I have done it for two days, though. I'm hungry a lot of the time, but I'm being strong. I am taking seven kinds of vitamins just to keep me going.

I put up a lot of tons on my body after I gave birth, so this is a kick in the butt on to the right track. My hubby told me, it doesn’t matter if I am fat because he loves me, well, it matters to me. I really want to get back my old figure.

My motivation has been low lately. So, I have to be strict during this time.

Magic Pills

My daughter and I were watching television while I was eating my dinner tonight (a bad habit, I know) and a commercial for one of those extreme diet pills came on the air. You know the one - the woman in the pink bikini showing off her rather largish rear end and then saying she lost 20 pounds in 8 weeks with this magic little pill. Then the "doctor" from Midwestern University comes on saying the same thing (and looking like a robot).

Oh I don’t believe those magic pills unless you will exercise, do you think they become sexy because of the diet pills? I don’t think so.

On my next entry, I will be posting an update of my losing weight.

Suffering from Pain

I've done walking on my treadmill this morning with an empty stomach. And did a cardio but I did not finished the whole hour because my daughter cried a lot in the nursery. One of the rules in YMCA nursery is, if the baby will cry for ten minutes they will call your attention.

Anyway, is there ever a reprieve from teething and ear infections and runny nose? She is sick when the weather changed and it’s still changing!

Last night, I was up with her about half of the night. Sometimes, I jumped during the night when suddenly she screamed, I don’t know why she is like that, I think it’s because she is teething and maybe she is on pain.

That is it all for now, enjoy the rest of the week!

Now playing, "Rock-a-Bye Baby".

Getting Ready to Bite You

She looks and acts more like a little girl all the time, instead of a baby. Her hair is still sparse, but getting thicker.

She was ninth month old on February 5th but she don’t have a tooth on her gums yet.

Yesterday, her father checked her gums but he wasn’t sure if it was tooth or something. And today, she has a tooth on her upper gums! I was surprised then, because, I kept checking her gums only at the bottom but I did not see any. When they start teething, most babies will have teeth it began in the bottom. She is still teething, so I’m certain that there will be more teeth soon enough.

So, she has a new tooth now! She is been drooling profusely for... good heavens, forever! She had a molar push through and retreat a couple of weeks ago, and now has a front tooth that is just top the surface. If she clamps down with her little gums, you can feel the exciting sharpness of the new tooth. It's hard for me because I'm so excited about this new tooth that I want to feel it, yet I don't want to encourage biting... Ah, what to do! If you can't tell, patience has never been a virtue of mine, especially when I'm this excited about something.

It is amazing how fast time flies on my daughter’s growing. She is a happy and adorable. Oh yes, she is…

Flightplan

We watched a couple of movies last month. Flight Plan was on my must see list and I was not disappointed in it.

The plot summary is "In this modern retelling of a classic urban legend, a mother finds herself at odds with a unremitting flight crew and her own sanity when her daughter vanishes in the middle of a flight, with only a few clues left behind. She must now challenge the boundaries of her will and her mind in her desperate search." Jodie Foster gives another great performance in a very good movie.

Happy Valentine's Day

I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's day to all. I hope each of you has someone special to spend this day with. Also make sure that you remember that to truly have someone Special is to make everyday Valentines and do those little things that will always tell that other person how much you really care. Because in the end, the little things really do make all the difference.

First romance, first love, is something so special to all of us, both emotionally and physically, that it touches our lives and enriches them forever. - Rosemary Rogers

Sit Back and Relax

I managed to avoid for 3 weeks, but no longer. I'm one of those people now. I'm a coffee drinker.

I never used to like the way it tasted. I always loved the smell of coffee. But the taste? Yuck! Also I'm a morning person. I wake up easily. I never needed it to get going in the morning. So why bother?

The cool thing about is that coffee is usually readily available, and it is free. I love coffee, so I've had a lot of coffee in the past two days.
