The Great Escape
I'm having an internal blog update, I can't post and publish any entry. Be back posting on Wednesday.
Does the title sound familiar to you? It is the title of an old war movie filmed in 1963. But this time, there is a remake, starring my daughter.
When she was six months old, my husband and I decided to build a 2 feet wall around our bedroom, for her safety. We put a mattress on the floor to keep our daughter from falling out of the bed. We did not care where we slept as long as it was safe for her.
I would say, she is considered a toddler now. She gets all enthusiastic about climbing everything. She loves climbing whatever’s nearby: the chairs, tables, toys and everything she can climb on and with. No matter how many times I have tried to stop her, the more determined she is to climb. I think that she has been planning her Great Escape.
It’s been a week now since she’s been climbing over the wall. Suddenly, I was surprised and scared; because, someone grabbed my skirt! I was relieved to see that it was only my daughter. I saw how happy she was. I was pretty sure; no one had helped her to escape from behind the wall; but I had no evidence. At last, I caught her in the act! I took a photo of her last night. I think it was cute and funny, so I want to include some of the evidence of her Great Escape.

haha reat escape nga, noong una bigla ko naisip yung escape from alcatraz na movie, pero nun nakita ko yung picture eh ang ganda pala ng fence, makulay at safe na safe naman. cute ng pag-akyat at pagtakas. hehe
This story was really worth reading. Kids are unstoppable and so fun. But they can scare the shit out of you while they starts to explore the unexplored.

20 Months na sya, grabe lagi. Last week na sya ga sugod ug katkat, pero everytime makakita camera kay mo madagan man sa ako. Gabii, wa jud na sipyat, tanan angle kuhaan lagi nako, hahaha.

Hi Raquel, grabe nako katawa aning photos ni Maria.. kadomdom noon ko ni Andrew when he was that age.. na dili na gyod kapogngan iyang pagdako Raq.. mangita man gyod na sila ug paagi makalusot.. you need big house now for her to walk around and run around the house. She wanted to explore na gyod. I cant blame her na mo escape.. maayo gani dili na mohilak kung makulong.. kay kani akong anak as in grabe ka active.. you will found out pag naa kay lalaki nga anak.. Na sige enjoy of maria's milestone..
Hello Mads...as in na jud ka likot si Maria. Basin mahulog inig katkat niya ba...cguro time na tanggalon ang wall para free na cya to roam around the house hehehe.
I enjoyed watching her photos. Ako na pud sa puhon ani magkalingaw bantay ug anak hehehe..excited kaayo.

at last nagamit mo na rin ang title na matagal mo ng iniisip gamitin. "Great Escape" nakatakas na rin pala sa kanyang Alcatraz si Maria (isa pa ring title yan ng movie Escape from Alcatraz, pero mas nauna yang Great Escape)
matagal na rin akong di nakakapasyal dito buti na lang inabot ko ang escape act ni Maria. Ano naman kaya ang susunod siguro dadaan na sa bintana si Maria para umattend ng party.
