Successful At LastBy Raquel on October 27, 2007 | 13 Comments
This couple has been married for over three years. Two months after their wedding, the wife got pregnant, but her pregnancy didn’t reach full term. She had a miscarriage, when the baby was five months in her womb. They had been trying to get pregnant again, but their attempts were always unsuccessful. The couple had fertility struggles, and they desperately wanted to have a baby. They had gone to more than one doctor for fertility workups. They had many laboratory tests, and they had been taking vitamins. But it didn’t work. One day, they went to an experienced doctor. The doctor a... -
Halloween Sweet TreatBy Raquel on October 25, 2007 | 10 Comments
Julie, of TEACHERJULIE.COM, gave me this nice, treat, award called “Halloween Sweet Treat”. The first time I came to her blog, she had an entry of Paper. It was from the Photohunt Meme. I was interested, and I, also, played along. Her daughter drew a portrait of her family. I think it was so sweet, and she is very creative, for a four-year-old, to draw like that. It’s time for me to pass some treats. The rule is to choose, at random, friends or visitors to give an award. This is difficult for me to pick who will be awarded; because I have had so many favorite friends. As my r... -
Day and Night SleeperBy Raquel on October 22, 2007 | 17 Comments
Having a second child can bring back the memories of my first born. I cannot avoid recalling and comparing the two. While looking for information, I’ve read different kinds of books and looked up on the internet, about what to expect during the first year with my baby. It says, most newborn babies cry a lot; so, I was a bit prepared before my first child was born. During the first two months, she was a crying baby. It was hard for me to figure out what she was crying about; it seemed sometimes that she cried for no good reason. Drawing upon that experience, I was and am expecting the sa... -
Potty Training InitiatedBy Raquel on October 13, 2007 | 18 Comments
About two months ago, I started training my eldest daughter to use the potty. I tried, maybe, for only two days, then I stopped. I know it takes a while to train a two year old child to use a potty; but, there are reasons why I wasn’t persistent enough to do the training. I was eight months pregnant; it was hard for me to bring my daughter in the bathroom to sit on her potty. She never had much interest, and it has been a long and difficult process for me to do this job. Also, I was focused on teaching her the alphabet and other child development tasks. It was hard for me to do two things at... -

The Final CountdownBy Raquel on October 4, 2007 | 22 Comments
Down there was supposed to be posted on September 30, 2007 at 3:12 a.m.; but something happened, and I could not think of anything except my hubby. Around 3:30 in the morning my amniotic fluid broke. Hubby was not there; but after one call, he arrived like in a blink of an eye. On September 30, 2007 at 9:37 AM, I gave birth to a second child. There are more stories to tell, but I am still healing and resting. I will be back to blogging after my recovery. I miss you all! ...
