Interpretation of Dreams

People have different interpretation of dreams. I have mine too; but among of all of my dreams, I only believe one of them. I have had so many dreams; but I can never remember, exactly, what the dream was about, and I forget about the whole thing when I get up.

Dreams have a hidden meaning that we are left to discover for ourselves. But, do you believe in dreams? Have you ever had dreams that came true? Do you pay attention to them or just ignore them? I am not the type of person who believes these things. To me, dreams are only representations of our subconscious mind.

I know this is funny or strange, but how about dreaming of poop? Do you believe the meaning is money? I have dreamed of poop many times in my life, and ninety-nine percent of the time the dream came true, in reference to money, not poop!

Tagged #20: Five Questions

I am tagged again and this time from Nona.

1. Would you rather be alone OR surrounded by enemies for the rest of your life?
It's better to live in the corner than to live in a big house with someone who likes to argue. It's better to be alone.

2. Are you an early bird OR a night owl?
I am both.

3. When sick, do you prefer to be pampered OR left alone?
If I need help, its nice to have someone there. But if I can do it by myself, I would rather be alone.

4. Do you believe in the relative OR the absolute truth?
I believe in both but it depends on the situation.

5) Which is worse, the burning question OR the painful truth?
Painful truth is better.

You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what you are doing and you are always in control of your life. You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what's in and you are never are out of style You are good at knowing how to satisfy everyone else. You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing to give advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic and you always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not to be too much of a dreamer. Dreaming too big could cause many conflicts in your life.

(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants:
You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. Stay away from traitors and jealous people, and you will be stress free.

You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Mom every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few Birthdays. Don't let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points) You are Dexter:
You are smart and definitely a thinker... Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes. * Try to do less over thinking every once in a while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity. Now don't spoil it! Food Preparation

How do you cook Filipino foods? It is easy, right? Among the main ingredients, in most dishes, are a little bit of garlic, onion and soy sauce. The procedure is always the same; you have to stir fry the spices, and then add all the rest of the ingredients in the pan.

I am already tired the style of this cooking. I have changed some of the ingredients, but the taste is always the same. Asian stores, in the USA are not on every corner. Usually, you can find Asian store in a big city, when there are many Filipono residents. You cannot find Filipino foods in my kitchen, if there are, I only have few. If you cook in the same way you used to, the taste of your cooking is much less than expected, because of the lack of ingredients.

I am not in my homeland anymore; so I need to adapt to the foods here and learn to love it. Though sometimes, I miss Filipino foods. Just to change the taste of my cooking, I cut up the garlic, onions and soy sauce in the recipe. What I have in stock now are lemon pepper seasoning, basil, parsley, oregano, seasoned salt, cinnamon, worcestershine sauce and etc.

Just take a look the images of my cooking and tell me about it.

Cecil, Heidi, Nova and Sunshine4Life tagged me of this meme, Give Love on Christmas.

"Most of us bloggers are still strangers to each other. Some of us do not even leave a simple “hello” to some blogs that we visit, whatever the reason is, not relevant. This meme’s aim, at least for me, is to bring us bloggers together, especially those we do not know this Christmas by this simple act of sending an e-card.

I’m for it, so I hope people whom I’m going to request by the end of this entry will also join. For the spirit of Christmas."

Copy and paste here.

How to Join?

[1] Fill up and submit the details of this form.

[2]Copy and post the rules to your blog. Include the “backward list” (a record of how the tag reached you) and add your name.

[3] Recruit for participants. Be sure to get their consent. Should they agree to join, add them to your “forward list” (bloggers you’ve convinced to join). Remind them to do item #1.

** Participants will be accepted until December 16 (Phil. time) only. On December 17, the organizer will email to you the details of your Ronito/Ronita. Send him/her a Christmas greeting via E-cards preferably on December 25.

Building Words

I have come to a new realization; never underestimate a child's understanding. I realize now, they are capable of so much more than we think they are. My daughter's generation is different, children learn fast. Maybe it is just because there are more opportunities for children to learn. If I am not wrong, I could have read at age six; though I know that each child is at a different level of their abilities to learn.

About four months ago, I was worried about, what I thought was, my daughter's slow development. I felt that there were many things that she should have already learned or should be doing. From that time, I have been teaching a different lesson everyday. She has done pretty good; and now, I cannot help but to think that she is a smart girl for her age.

She is only 2 1/2 years old, but she has started reading simple words now. I have written words and asked her to read them; to my surprise, she reads the words without any hesitation. I cannot say that she is memorizing the words, because I have asked her to read them in random, and there are NO pictures to help her with the words. I am not sure if she knows how to read, I think she is too young for this. But whatever it is, this is a good start for her.

These are the words that she can read:
Apple | Boy | Ball | Bird | Cat | Cow | Doll | Egg | Enter | Exit | Frog | Girl | Heart | Horse | Igloo | Jet | King | Lips | Log | Monkey | Moon | Net | Pizza | Queen | Rain | Rose | Sun | Star | Tiger | Van | Wig | Yo-yo | Zebra | Zipper

Update 12-06-2007:

Ant | Ax | Baby | Bag | Bat | Bed | Bee | Book | Bus | Blue | Black | Brown | Cake | Can | Car | Crayon | Dad | Dog | Drum | Duck | Drip | Elephant | Fan | Fish | Flower | Foot | Feet | Five | Fork |Glue | Green | Hair | Hand | Head | Horn | Hot | Hug | | Hen | Ink | Jump | Key | King | Kiss | Mad | Mouse | Nest | Nose | Orange | Pan | Pen | Pig | Pumpkin | Ran | Rat | Red | | Rose | Rug | Six | Snake | Ten | Train | Tree | Umbrella | Vacuum | Violin | Wet | Window | Zero | Zoo

In Random:
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday

Blue | Red | Yellow | Orange | Black | White | Green | Pink | Gray | Brown | Purple

Circle | Square | Rectangle | Oval | Triangle | Star
