Truman or True Man

Have you seen the movie Truman Show? It’s about a man whose life was caught on camera and shown on T.V. for the world to see. At first Truman didn’t know that he was being watched. He didn’t know that all the people he knew including those he loved – his wife, mother, best friend – were mere actors and just playing a role the director was dictating. In that show, Truman was the only true man.

In the end, Truman learns the truth. His creator, the director, gives him a choice: he could stay in that world where no harm can happen to him, or he could go out in the real world, a world of uncertainty and possible danger.

Never saw the movie but its worth thinking about...that would be a difficult choice to make--would I want to leave in an ideal, harmless world or experience life with all its ups and downs? Hmm...anyway, Happy Easter!

Hi Raquel, I'm back ! Haven't seen the movie yet but I hope to see it one day. I like movies that give reflection like the last movie I saw Into the Wild directed by Sean Penn!

I rather live in a real world and face the real challenge of life which make us more stronger ! Happy Easter.

Have not seen this movie, but what a choice?
I think it has a very good personal question to every viewer. Make a choice. Do you live in a real world or a dream world.

happy Easter

at the risk of sounding paranoid, sometimes i feel like i'm surrounded by actors and i'm the only one who doesn't know the script. :(
