    Is My Scale Broken?
    I know that I have not reached my weight loss goal yet. For the past 3 weeks, I have noticed that I did not lose the weight that I was expecting to. I have been doing well with my walking. I eat healthy foods, and I can still manage to not eat too much. Everything is seems to be good, but why have I not been losing more weight for the past few weeks. It is so frustrating, every time I step on my scale it does not change. However, at least I didn’t gain. I have lost 38 pounds, so now I have another 23 pounds to lose before I can reach my goal.     I have written a story about my first daughter’s [Maria] escape from her ridge entitled, “The Great Escape”. It was all about how she climbed over the wall just to escape.     Some of you were asking how I lost the 30 pounds. My secret is that I walk and jog for at least 4 to 5 times a week. I am not dieting, but instead, I am limiting my food intake.     In my town, this is the walking trail that I go for a long walk every morning. The trail is located in the city where it’s only 1.5 miles from home.
