Photography Interest

I started having an interest in photography about 2 years ago; and I have been slowly picking up on some techniques. Now, I am hooked on it, and I want to learn more. Some of my friends have told me that, becoming a good photographer or getting a good photograph is a matter of personal experience and practice. But, whatever it takes, I am willing to continue my learning experience.

My sister is a fanatic about photography; she loves to take pictures wherever she goes. Sometimes, it is hard to admit, but I envy the way that she is able to take a scene. She only uses an ordinary camera, but the outcomes of her efforts are perfect, and her camera shots look professional. She can manage to take good pictures even using only her cell phone camera. My sister’s example has shown me that you do not always have to have the very best camera to get a really good picture.

But, I have noticed that having a good camera can help make taking high quality pictures a lot easier. So, I have been researching, and I decided to buy a Canon camera product. And I also have searched and asked people about which is the better Canon camera to buy, but I get too many differing opinions. But, I guess, that is a part of the process. Anyway, these are some of the cameras that some people have mentioned in their recommendations.

dsc04748Now, after decreasing the number on my list of camera choices, I decided to buy a canon camera model EOS Rebel XSi. And I have received it via UPS. But, after I have had it in my hands, I have changed my mind, because I want to buy a better one, but that will be more expensive. It is a good thing that I still have the box. I will definitely attempt to return it through the mail this week. Now, I will be looking forward and hoping for the price to decrease from $200 to $300 in a few weeks or months from now.

Update: I returned the Rebel xsi in exchange of Canon 50D.

  1. It is wonderful to have an interesting hobby. I have noticed how much you have dropped on all three of my cards and wanted to let you know that I REALLY appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Btw, I will return this item kase may nakita akong mas maganda, he-he. Pag-iipunan ko muna.

  3. Yes, if you can afford to invest on higher model, do it! I highly recommend it. Even though I am not a professional photographer, I am already taking “good” pictures as you can see from my blog. It is worth investing on especially if you like taking pictures.

I am enjoying my Nikon D40. I only have the basic lens and hopefully be able to buy a more advance lens in the near future.

Try to look at Nikon, they are cheaper and widely used. Plus you can change the body of the camera and your lens will still be usable. Don’t know is the same is true for Canon.

Thank you and you are right Jo. It is so nice to have a good camera especially if we really like what we are doing. The camera that I like is a little expensive but I can still wait until my savings is enough to purchase it. I didn’t hear more about Nikon kaya nakapag decide akong Canon ang binili ko. I will search and ask about it to find out which is better, whether Nikon or Canon.
