Today is Saturday, January 23, 2010. We started moving our stuff last week, and we are almost done packing; since we have moved a few miles away, we have been moving a little at a time as we make all the necessary changes. The inspector finished the house inspection, and the house has not any major problems. I appreciated the completed report when the inspection was finished. The inspector gave us suggestions about any of the minor issues. The house was built in 2006, and I can tell the first owner preserved the house well. I brought the kids with us, while the inspection was being done. I was thinking that the house inspection would be over quickly, but it took more than 2 hours. Lately, I’ve been so busy with other things, and I have been lazy about updating my blog. I have tons of updates, but they are all in short notes. From October to December 2009, I now have accumulated 22 pending updates; but the other day, I started 3 entries, leaving me with 19 topics to write. This photo was taken about a month ago when we were in Virginia with my in-laws for Thanksgiving. In the Tennessee city, where we live, we do not get much snow. Since I arrived here in 2004, there has been only three times that it has snowed; there is never any accumulation of more than about ½ inch, and the snow always melts very soon afterwards.
